Our headed shear connectors can be used for welding on flat surfaces, inside/outside angles & "thru deck". Headed Shear Studs are designed to interconnect (tie) the concrete slabs to the load bearing steel beams. This composite construction resists Shear loading between the concrete and the steel beam and increases the loading capacity in steel buildings, bridges, column, etc. “OORJA” make Studs meet all applicable as per IS standards. We can supply studs of almost any size. • Standard Headed Shear Stud Range: The Headed Shear Studs will be made to order as per request. • Standard Diameters: 12mm, 16mm, 19mm, 22mm & 25mm • Length: They are available from 50mm to 300mm. Generally the length is specified before weld. When the studs are welded to a base metal they will be approximately 5 to 8mm shorter after welding.
